I recently ventured down to shoot Julie and Matt’s Punta de Mita wedding just north of Puerto Vallarta. It has a special place in my heart because my grandmother moved to Puerto Vallarta when I was a kid, and I spent my summers playing in the surf and fishing off the end of the decrepit town pier. The smells, sights and sounds awakened distant memories within, and flying in made me feel like a five year old all over again. I haven’t been back for a long time.

Julie and Matt flew in from Sydney, with guests coming from throughout Canada and the US. They had a gorgeous ceremony and reception at the St. Regis, and lots of other fun activities planned for their family and friends during the long weekend. Congrats, you two! Cheers to a beautiful life together.
