Allison and Buddy came up to Estes Park recently, and we had an awesome time wandering around the aspen trees up in Rocky Mountain National Park for their engagement session.

I love photographing up there and I have picked out a small grove that I love to go to. I found it a few years ago when my dad was visiting. We went on an afternoon photo safari and wound up a clearing surrounded by aspen trees and a bunch of elk bugling just beyond our view in the forest. It was pretty cool.

Anyway, Allison and Buddy were so much fun together and I’m super excited to shoot their wedding at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau here in Estes Park. Here are some favorites from this fun afternoon in the mountains of Colorado.
