I am soooo behind on blogging right now, so in the next week or two I’m going to *try* to give a snapshot of what I’ve been up to in the last few months. These posts will be in no particular order, but anyway.

Brett and Ryan flew out to California to get married just before the November election, and I jetted out as well as a surprise. You may recognize them from earlier in the year, when I shot Brandy and Tony’s wedding in the Bahamas. Brandy is Brett’s sister. I met Ryan and Brett at that wedding and had an awesome time hanging out with them and the rest of their fam, so it was really fun to have Brett’s mom call me up the week before their wedding to ask if I was available to shoot it. At the last minute I flew back to California and had a little reunion of sorts at the beach in Santa Barbara — the guys had no clue I was going to be there! — and then we took off to do a little engagement type of portrait session at sunset. The next day they had a private ceremony in an herb garden at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa with 2 friends, Brandy and Tony, and Brett’s parents. Couldn’t have been more perfect. 🙂

And a big fat shameful thumbs down to California for the Prop 8 vote. What an embarrassment.
