Grenada wedding photographer

Grenada is an incredible place for wedding photography. Commonly misspelled as Greneda or Graneda, it’sĀ a gorgeous island country off the coast of Venezuela and close to Trinidad, Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. At 132 square miles, its one of the larger islands in the area — but don’t worry about that. A Grenada wedding is a wonderful way to spend some tranquil, peaceful and quiet time alone with your closest family and friends. The country is comprised of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique, and is commonly known as the Spice Isle.

A Grenada wedding is a safe bet, even during hurricane season. Greneda receives little rain, even during the dry season. Trade winds keep the temperature relatively stable, too, so you can be pretty assured of having a good spell of weather during your marriage and ensuing photography sessions. For this reason, if you are planning a wedding in the Caribbean in the autumn, Grenada is a top choice. Thanks to its close proximity to Venezuela, the island has a tropical feel. There are historical attractions (old estates or spice farms) as well as gorgeous natural attractions like waterfalls and lakes and rainforests. From a wedding photographer’s perspective, Grenada is a top destination in the Caribbean.

Getting to Grenada is not too difficult, since there’s a main international airport on the big island of Greneda. You can fly on a variety of airlines, including AA, Air Canada, BA, Sky Service, Air Jamaica and a few others.

If you are planning to tie the knot here, you don’t have to worry too much about logistics. It’s a pretty simple process. The wedding requirements in Grenada are as follows: you’ll need to be on the island for at least three days before you can apply for a license. To do so, you’ll need to visit the government offices with passports, birth certificates, an affidavid of singledom, and your license fees. Once you’ve applied, you should receive your license after a few days. For this reason, it’s best to arrive ont he island on a Sunday if you plan on a wedding the following Saturday.

Our Grenada wedding packages comeĀ complete with 2-days of all-inclusive coverage for your destination celebration. We will be there photographing everything from your pre-wedding events to a day after bride and groom portrait photo session.
