Bluebird day with snowcapped peaks
I love shooting small intimate weddings in Estes Park! Craig and Jewell came in from out of state and had a small elopement in town while they were in the middle of a big road trip back east. They said their vows during a great ceremony with Carolyn at Sunflower Weddings, and then we headed into Rocky Mountain National Park for some couples portraits.
It was a perfect bluebird late spring day — warm and sunny, and with snowcapped peaks all over everywhere.
If you’re planning a wedding in Estes Park, note that you’ll need a permit for a ceremony inside Rocky Mountain National Park — even if it’s a small elopement. Craig and Jewell were married in a small city park overlooking the National Park, and then we went into the park and shot couples portraits with my portrait photography permit.
Anyway, here are a few shots from the day.
